The list of records to follow indicates the location of the various state court records for the Rhode Island Judiciary. Files for cases more recent than those on this list are still stored at the respective courts. Although this list indicates the location of the bulk of the records, the list does not guarantee that a specific individual record will be at the listed location. Specific case files may be retained by the court when the bulk of the records for that year were transferred to storage or a court may have requested the temporary return of a particular case to the court.
