Court Issued Identification Cards for Attorneys

Court identification cards may be issued by the Office of Facilities, Operations, and Security to active Rhode Island attorneys who are in good standing with the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Requests for a court identification card shall be accompanied by current photograph identification (e.g., valid driver’s license, United States passport, government identification.) Any attorney issued a court identification card will be required to sign an acceptance and acknowledgment form agreeing to all terms and limitations. Attorneys who have been suspended, terminated, or otherwise are not in good standing will not be issued an identification card. If you have questions about the status of your admission, please contact the Supreme Court Clerk’s Office.
