Please note that all statistical reports are based on a “snapshot” of the domestic violence/sexual assault (DV/SA) database at a specific time and do not reflect the continual updating of the live database by contributing law enforcement departments. These numbers are based on DV/SA Reporting Forms that were correctly completed and sent to the office by the law enforcement departments. If forms were returned for correction and have not been resubmitted, those forms would not be included in the statistics. Additionally, the non-arrest statistics may rise slightly as the office receives additional information on any cases that were under investigation.
